

PITMASTER PROGRAM
What is a Pitmaster?
The Pitmaster Program is designed to give ABC members an A-Z education in barbeque. We hope to teach how to prepare, cook, and serve a variety of meats both on a grill and in a smoker over the course of the Spring Semester. In addition, members in the Pitmaster Program will attend (bi)weekly meetings which will include barbeque education, guest lecturers, and opportunities to practice their cooking skills. Lastly, members will receive hands-on experience in barbeque and general cooking practice both with and without officer supervision.
The members selected will get to decide which meats and techniques their Class will focus on over the course of the semester. In addition to the knowledge gained, upon completion of the course Pitmasters will receive a custom apron and towel.
